Anthem of the summer

Sem Jacobs, Tagmann - Blue Berries

Release year
2024
Label
Unknown

House music and a saxophone have always been a great combination! Popularised by many BBC Radio One DJs and unavoidable all summer long on beach parties across the Mediteranean, this track propelled Sem Jacobs to the heights he’s never seen before.

This track, frequently combined with the “Pump Up The Jam” acapella layered on top, is simply a masterpiece.

Best remake

Chris Stussy, Moby - Go

Originally made as an intro to Chris Stussy’s Boiler Room set, it quickly became one of his most requested IDs. Leaning heavily into what made the original Moby track stand out way back in 1991 (ranking #69 in Rolling Stone’s 200 “Greatest Dance Songs of All Time” list) and giving it a modern, bass-heavy spin.

Grooviest track

Vintage Culture, Maverick Sabre, Tom Breu, Marco Lys - Weak (Marco Lys Remix)

Our grooviest pick of the year goes out to Marco Lys, who is by no means a stranger to dancefloors. His remix of Vintage Culture’s hit of the year caught everyone’s attention this year.

Most anticipated ID

PAWSA, The Adventures Of Stevie V - Dirty Cash (Money Talks)

Release year
2024

PAWSA certainly had a fantastic year finding blasts from the past and making them more appropriate for dancefloors of today, appearing not once, but twice(!) on our list this year.

Most catchy lyrics

Raffa Guido - Famax

Release year
2024
Label
Unknown

Imagine that the first track you ever decide to release gets over 50 million Spotify views. That’s exactly what happened to Raffa Guido! The Swiss DJ got recognised by the likes of Keinemusik and MoBlack, which was more than enough to propell his first ever single into one of the most played tracks of the summer. We’re very excided to see what he has in store for us in 2025.

Most emotional track

London Grammar, Solomun - House (Solomun Remix)

Bosnian-born, Hamburg-raised Solomun providing a darker version of London Grammar’s drum and bass track, propelling it into something very emotional. Perfect for the sunsets.

Most underrated track

Bedouin, IVETA - Better Than This

Release year
2024
Label
Unknown

In a year filled with great house music, we feel like this one flew under everyone’s radar. Not ours though!

The road to unknown Might bare nightmares and fairytales. I know that I know nothing So into the wind I sail.

We’ve been yearning to hear this song on a night out for the past couple of months (preferrably somewhere around 5 AM), allowing its catchy lyrics remind us to be humble and live in the moment.

But will it get better than this? Right now I have everything. I feel so good in my skin. Tomorrow I deal with my sins.

Rated #7 overall and as the most underrated track of the year, we promise you we are not overselling it one bit.

Top Afro House track

Adam Port, Stryv, Orso, Malachiii - Move

Release year
2024
Label
Unknown

Girl, I really like the way you move.

You know it, you’ve heard it. Move was undoubtedly the most recognisable house music song of 2024, propelling Adam Port and the rest of the Keinemusik crew to the heights we haven’t seen before. We will definitely be listening to this song with a lot of nostalgia 5-10 years down the line.

Top Bass House track

Anti Up, Chris Lake, Chris Lorenzo - The Weekend

Chris Lake’s and Chris Lorenzo’s alias Anti Up has caught everyone’s attention way back in 2018 with singles such as Pizza and Hey Pablo. After many years of anticipation, 2024 was the year when we finally saw them release their full-length album titled “What Is Life.”

We feel like “The Weekend” perfectly capsulates the rawness of their sound: simple to remember lyrics, powerful bass that drives you to move and filthy drums.

Top Hip-Hop collaboration

Don Toliver, ACRAZE - Bandit (ACRAZE’s Club Mix)

Don Toliver’s infectious voice sounds even better when it receives a bass house treatment by ACRAZE. One of the dirtiest tracks of the year, and our pick for the best Hip-Hop collaboration.
