#1 Prospa, RAHH - This Rhythm
It’s got disco, it’s got catchy rhythm, and vocals that instantly remind you of classical house from the ’90s. Leeds-based duo Prospa teamed up with Manchester-based RAHH to deliver an amazingly catchy track that we couldn’t get enough of since release.
#2 Chloé Caillet, Luke Alessi, Jocelyn Brown - The One
Parisian Chloé Caillet never imagined herself taking the #1 spot on Beatport, but that’s exactly what happened when she collaborated with Melbourne-based Luke Alessi in re-working Jocelyn Brown’s minor hit from 1984. In fact, Jocelyn Brown re-sang the lyrics 4 decades later for this release!
#3 Mochakk - Maria
Brazilian Mochakk has quickly gained reputation in recent years for the way he feels and interacts with the music behind the decks. What has long been one of the standout tracks of his sets has finally seen the light of day. Everything we like about modern deep house in one track.
#4 Tony Romera - Time To Move
Tony Romera’s rework of a 1984 disco classic brings freshness while keeping true to the original. It updates the 1984 original with tight drums, a groovy bassline, and a touch of French house, the blend of which is stuck in our heads for months now.
#5 Chris Lake, Ragie Ban - Toxic
As we’re writing this, we’re only days away from a long anticipated ‘Chemistry’ album to drop and it is difficult to contain our excitement. While this track won’t be a part of the album, it has already proven to be a certified dancefloor weapon.
#6 Linska - Bad Boy (GENESI Remix)
#7 Discip - Mind Games
#8 Biscits - Crush
#9 Maesic, Marshall Jefferson, Salomé Das - Life Is Simple (Move Your Body)
What do you get when you blend together afro house beats, “Life Is Simple” lyrics that trended all over TikTok, and Marshall Jefferson’s legendary house music anthem? #8 most sold track on Beatport mid-year.
#10 Michael Bibi, Alexa Sunshine Rose - Sunglazing (Electronic Mix)
After two years of absence beating cancer, Sunglazing is Michael Bibi’s first release post-diagnosis. Welcome back Michael! Your presence was sorely missed.
