Electronic music veteran The Shapeshifters will headline this year’s Forestland Festival (July 18th and 19th), taking place in a forest about 100 kilometers north of Zagreb near the town of Čakovec.

The Shapeshifters, originally formed as a duo but now the solo project of Simon Marlin, have been a defining force in house music for two decades. Their debut hit “Lola’s Theme” (2014) remains one of the most iconic tracks in house music history.

The lineup also features electro-house duo DJs From Mars, known for their explosive mashups and high-energy sets, alongside Croatian electronic duo Vanillaz, who have made waves with releases on Spinnin’ Records and Protocol Recordings. Another noteworthy act is Baby Lasagna, the Croatian singer that ranked second in last year’s Eurovision.

“We’re building Forest25 year-round to create something special in this magical forest setting,” says festival organizer Krešo Biškup. “This year marks a return to the festival’s original spirit while introducing new elements like the Circus Arborum forest circus square.”

The festival will host performances across three stages — the Forestroom, Forestland stage, and a third surprise stage — during 48 hours of non-stop music. Beyond music, attendees can experience Forest Tattoo, Graffiti Jam, the Enchanted Forest installation, and a spectacular night light show.

Early bird tickets starting at €25 for both festival days are available through ulaz.hr. For more information, visit Forestland’s official website.
